SACHIN TENDULKAR BIOGRAPHY
In India Cricket is not just a game but it acts as a pilgrimage for Indians. Sachin Tendulkar had given his special contribution in cricket.In Cricket, He was given as the position of God because as per records, He is the highest one for runs, centuries as well as boundaries. He was the first player who was awarded the Bharat Ratna award in India. He was a good player as well as he is a good person also. He runs a programme in which he feeds 200 children every year.
Let’s start with his life story:
Sachin Tendulkar was born on 24th April 1973 at Rajapur in Bombay. He belongs to a middle-class family and his father’s name was Ramesh Tendulkar who was a writer as well as a professor, and his mother’s name was Rajni Devi who works for an insurance company. From his childhood, he was very much fond of cricket but from his childhood, he was very much mischievous due to which he always fight with other children. His elder brother took him to a cricket academy were Sachin had done marvel. Sachin always hold his bat from the bottom because he feels comfortable to hold it like it. His coach asks him to take admission in Sarada Asharam School because there is a better place for learning cricket.
There Sachin plays with a professional team and practice cricket on regular basis. He was not very good in studies but he can play cricket very well. Sachin Tendulkar has 13 coins from his coach Ramakant Achrekar as some of his prized. By practicing and hard work he began to play better and various people came to know about him. At first, Sachin Tendulkar has very much curiosity for balling due to which he went to MRF Pace Foundation in Madras but their his coach suggested him to learn to bat because Sachin had to give his best performance in batting. So Sachin agreed to his coach and started learning to bat.
Step Towards Success:
For motivating Sachin to play cricket at that time the Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar had given his pad to Sachin Tendulkar. After 20 years Sachin had overcome the record of test match of Sunil Gavaskar. On 14 November 1987, Sachin was selected for Ranji Trophy for Domestic first-class cricket in Mumbai. But on 11 December 1988, Sachin Started his carrier while playing for Mumbai against Gujarat were he had completed his century and he became the highest run scorer in the series. In Irani Cup, he had also made a century while he was playing for Sesh Bharat.
Opportunities and Achievements :
In the age of 16, he was selected for the Indian national cricket and he was selected by Raj Singh Dungarpur. On November 1989 at an age of 16 years and 205 days his test debut against Pakistan. In his first matches, he scored 15 runs against Pakistan. And he played a test match against England in 1992-93 and this was his 22nd test match. He made the world record of 100 centuries in international cricket career.He had played highest one-day international cricket.
Contribution to Cricket
Due to his special contribution to cricket, he was awarded by Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 1997-98. In 1999 he was awarded by Padma Shri and in 2008 he was awarded by Padma Vibhushan. In 2013 he had a Postal Ticket and in 2014 he was awarded by Bharat Ratna. On December 23, 2012, Sachin announced his retirement from one day cricket. He played his last match at his home ground Wankhede Stadium. Sachin was a great inspiration for every player.
